LandMark Retail Group to Celebrate Opening its 40th CVS Store

LRG continues aggressive expansion on behalf of Retailers Looking to Expand in California

(Woodland Hills, Calif.) — LandMark Retail Group is preparing to open its 40th CVS/pharmacy in the coming weeks, continuing a track record of rapid-fire development.

The newest addition to LandMark's portfolio of CVS stores will open late May in a prime location in Berkeley, Calif. on Telegraph Avenue between the University of California Berkeley campus and Alta Bates Summit Medical Center. CVS/pharmacy will serve the college and medical campuses and nearby residential neighborhoods offering a variety of daily-needs items and a full-service pharmacy. It will occupy a 19,000 square-foot freestanding building left vacant by Andronico's, a specialty grocer that filed for bankruptcy in 2011.

As CVS Caremark's preferred developer, LandMark has aggressively expanded the number of CVS/pharmacies throughout California.
